Favourites is the palette's first — and default — category: one grid holding the tiles you actually use, so your everyday vocabulary isn't spread over Shapes, Tools, Data, Components, and Devices. Each favourite behaves exactly like the same tile in its home category — tap to add, drag to place, and it previews the tab theme the same way.
Out of the box it starts with the nine most useful controls: Square, Circle, Diamond, Text, Pencil, Arrow, Sticky note, Frame, and Image.
Editing your favourites
Tap Edit — the footer band at the bottom of the Favourites panel — to open the Edit Favourites dialog:
- Search filters the controls by name as you type, and the category pills (Shapes, Tools, Data, Components, Devices, Icons, Technology) switch which catalogue you're browsing — so individual icons and technology marks can be favourites too.
- Every control shows as a tile with a corner badge: a red minus on your current favourites, a green plus on everything else. Tap the tile to toggle it.
- Changes apply immediately — on a desktop screen you can watch the Favourites grid update behind the dialog — and Done simply closes it.
If it feels familiar, that's deliberate — it works like customising Control Centre on an iPhone.
Where it's saved
Your selection is remembered in this browser (it isn't synced to your account yet), and there's no limit on how many controls you keep. The searchable catalogues — Icons and Technology — aren't in the pool; use their own categories' search instead.
