The Spotlight mode dims the canvas and spotlights the element under your cursor, so a viewer's attention lands on one thing at a time. Choose it from the mode picker at the top of the floating command palette.
How it works
As you move the cursor, the element beneath it stays bright while everything around it is dimmed. This is useful when you are talking through a diagram and want to focus the room on a single shape before moving on to the next.
Availability
Spotlight is desktop only, and is disabled on an empty canvas. Add an element on a desktop browser and the mode becomes available.
Spotlight works well alongside the Laser Pointer when presenting: dim the rest of the canvas, then point out the detail you want to discuss.
