The Avatar tour shows you everything your character can do. It works on the real editor rather than screenshots: it spotlights each part with a highlight ring and a short explanation, opening the Avatar panel to show it and closing it again after. It changes nothing on your canvas or your character, takes under a minute, and you can leave at any point.
When It's Offered
The first time you use Avatar mode, a centred Meet Your Avatar card asks whether you'd like a look: Yes starts it, No dismisses it.
It's offered whatever your role, including a view-only link, since Avatar mode is yours too. It isn't offered in an embed.
The offer appears once ever. However you answer (decline, skip midway, or finish), it won't come back on its own, and if you're signed in the answer follows you to every device. Turning on Power User Mode in Settings marks it as seen too.
What It Covers
- Your Avatar: the Avatar button next to Undo and Redo, where your character sheet lives.
- Make It Yours: gender, clothing, hair and size, the dice for a whole new look, and right-clicking your character to swap gender.
- Behaviour and Reactions: jumping jacks, a wave, a spin, a cheer or a dance, and bursts like confetti and hearts.
- Say Something: pressing Enter to type in a bubble above your head, or Send a Message in the panel. Not shown on a view-only link, where you can't speak.
- Give Someone a Push: clicking someone else's character to walk over and push them, and walking with the arrow keys and hopping with Space.
Each step has Next, Back and Skip tour. The last card, You're Ready to Roam, links to the Avatar mode article and ends the tour with Start walking. If you leave Avatar mode or switch tab mid-tour, it ends as skipped.
Replaying the Tour
Close Settings. If you're in Avatar mode the tour's welcome card shows straight away; otherwise it's offered the next time you walk as an avatar.
