An idea box collects anonymous submissions and holds them until you open it. It sits in the Ask the room group of the Collaborate category.
While it is closed
Anyone types into Add an idea. No name is recorded against it: the element has nowhere to store one.
While it is closed the box shows a count only, not the text, and not even to the person who wrote it.
Opening it
Open the box shows everything to the room. There is no closing it again: the flag protects the writing round, it isn't a toggle.
Scatter to stickies turns the ideas into ordinary sticky notes beside the box, so you can group, move and dot-vote them.
Use it for retro round one, pre-mortems, and anything where the honest answer needs the safety of not being attributed.
